Coronavirus in Leeds: Council suspends parking charges giving priority to NHS and key workers

All charges have been suspended and priority will be given to NHS and social work staff and other key workers.
Councillor Judith Blake, leader of Leeds City Council said: "We are all extremely grateful to those working so hard on the front line in the fight against Coronavirus and we’re keen to support them in any and every way we can.

The council has cut back other services after the Prime Minister put the UK on lockdown yesterday.
No public litter bins will be emptied and brown bin collections have been suspended.
All libraries, community hubs and council waste sites have also been closed.
