Merciless league leaders Wortley didn’t hold back against the Supreme’s visiting bottom-placed club, Steeton on Saturday.

Steeton, it is fair to say, have struggled to get going this season and remain rooted firmly to the foot of the table after going down 9-0 at Wortley, their eighth straight defeat.

John Mallinson hit a hat-trick, Curtis Lewis and Ryan Sharrocks claimed a brace apiece, and Matthew Dalton and McCauley Elliott were also on target.

The battle between fourth and third - Leeds City and Athletico - went the way of the higher-placed outfit.
