The Bridgerton filming location near Leeds that you can visit as Netflix announces return for third and fourth series
Located in the heart of Yorkshire, Castle Howard played a key role in the first series of the drama which came out on Netflix on Christmas Day last year.
The castle and Coneysthorpe, a North Yorkshire village, feature in the Georgian-themed Netflix series as Clyvedon Castle and village, the Duke of Hastings' family estate.

Hide AdHowever, the Duke of Hastings, played by actor Regé-Jean Page, will not be returning to our screens in the next series and it has not yet been confirmed as to whether filming will continue at Castle Howard for the coming series'.

The Baroque stately home, Castle Howard, took over 100 years to complete, and is surrounded by parklands, lakes and woodland walks.
It is open to visitors to take in the majesty of the building and grounds.

Hide AdSally Joynson, chief executive at Screen Yorkshire, whose film office helped with the production, previously said: ‘’The global success of Bridgerton demonstrates Yorkshire’s robust credentials as a world leading destination for filming and Castle Howard looks magnificent on screen in the drama, where it features as the location for Simon Basset’s estate.
“Our wealth of stately homes and heritage locations make the region a huge draw for period productions.
“Bridgerton is the latest in a series of worldwide hits that we have hosted here in recent years, including Victoria, Downton Abbey, The English Game and Gentleman Jack.’’

Hide AdAt the end of January, Netflix announced that the popular drama would be returning for series two, and today (Tuesday) the mysterious narrator of the series' dramatic events wrote a letter to Bridgerton followers on Twitter to announce the series' return for seasons three and four.
The letter said: "Esteemed members of the Ton,
"It seems we have a rather special announcement.
"Bridgerton shall return for seasons three and four.
"This author shall have to purchase more ink...
"Yours Truly, Lady Whistledown."
