Bramley Buffaloes are preparing to take on Hemel Stags this weekend.
The Buffaloes go into Staurday's game at the Arthur Miller Stadium (kick off 2.30pm) fresh from a 62-10 win against Gateshead.

But the visitors were also in rampant form with a runaway victory over East Lancashire Lions.

"The conditions were perfect for fast flowing open rugby last week" said Buffaloes head coach Paul Cook. "And the lads took advantage running in 12 tries. It was pleasing to see all the hard work paying off. It was especially pleasing to see veteran Chris Gardner back after injury and scoring a determined try in celebration" he added.

The Buffaloes have some of the original players from the club's return to competition in 2004, such as Gardner, Steve Gill, Shaun Flynn and Scott Pendlebury, but have continued to renew the team each year, this season adding new faces such as Tony Williams, Daniel Caston and Daniel Lavery.

"The new lads have slotted in perfectly" said a delighted Cook, "but we are also providing continuity, with the likes of Paul Drake, who last month became the first Bramley Buffaloes player to score 1,000 points for the club, still only in its' fifth season."

Buffaloes chairman, Martyn Cheney, was drooling at the prospect of another flowing match enthusing "Saturday's match promises to be a cracker. Tony Williams is running the tries in for Bramley, scoring five against Gateshead last week, but Hemel's Ross Willoughby helped himself to six against the Lions.

"If you want some great rugby league get along on Saturday."
