Bramley Buffaloes coach Paul Cook has said his side will not be complacent when they take on East Lancashire Lions at the Arthur Miller Stadium this weekend
Though not enjoying the best of starts this time round, last year, in the club's first season in the National competition, following success at regional level, the Lions had a very good second half of the season.

"So we will not be underestimating the Lions" said Head Coach Paul Cook. "The Lions have links with their Swinton namesakes and can turn out a handy side" he added.

Cook was pleased to see world record goal kicker Paul Drake back in training, and forming a new half back combination with Tony Williams, formerly of Dudley Hill, and Hunslet Hawks.

"Tony did the damage against Bramley in the 2005 Grand Final" said Cook "so it was pleasing to see him in the Buffaloes side making his debut last week, and he took the Man of the Match award."

Bramley were able to rest a couple of players last weekend, to help overcome injury niggles, but will select from strength with John Elliker now available again for selection.

The game takes place on Saturday, May 17, kick off 2.30pm.
