This trio will be the smiling faces of Bramley Carnival when the community party returns in July.
Carnival queen Charlotte Crossley and attendants Laura Pearson, 10, right, and Keri Cromack, 12, will lead the parade in Bramley Park on July 20.
They were picked by Chas Hodges – half of singing duo Chas and Dave – when he visited Leeds for a show at the City Varieties.
The draw was broadcast by Bramley's online radio station Radio Poplar.
Meanwhile carnival organisers are still desperately trying fill a funding gap.
The YEP reported last month that a £2,000 shortfall threatened to scupper the 2008 event.
That figure has been cut to £1,000 but organiser Terence Knapton said: "We will be contacting local businesses to see if they can support us. The situation is improving but we do need more money."
Bramley Carnival – which dates from 1891 – was revived two years ago.
