Bramley's Unknown Cause are tuning their instrumennts ready to take to the stage at this year's Bramley carnival.
The band will be playing three slots at the event being staged on Sundya, July 20 at Bramley Park off Town Street.

They will be playing on the main stage from 11.30pm-12pm, 1.10pm-1.50pm and 6.20pm-7pm.

The lads who are all aged 15 to 17 met while at Intake High School Arts College in Bramley where four of the lads are still at school.

The band are following in the footsteps of many past pupils of the school which include Mel B from the Spice Girls, Angela Griffin, Jack P Shepherd to mention a few.

Unknown Cause were in the National Final of the Live and Unsigned Under 18's competition which was held in London last month, competing against 15 other unsigned acts chosen from around the country.

It's nice that they can be a part of their local community and be involved in Bramley Carnival this year. The band have always had a lot of support from Intake High School as well as support from Barca-Leeds over the past year.

Terence Knapton, Bramley Carnival Committee chairman, says that there'll be lots to do all day for the whole family.
