Bramley's Pat Marriott has donned her yeoman outfit once again for the community's Carnival.
Pat, who is in her eighties, last dressed up for the procession in the early nineties before it was disbanded for nearly a decade.

She will be at the Bramley Shopping Centre tomorrow along with Radio Aire as part of the promotion for the carnival. Terence Knapton, carnival spokesman, said: "It will be a fantastic opportunity to have Pat Marriott back.

"When we told her what was happening she said that it would be a fantastic opportunity to be able to come back - and she is even wearing the exact same outfit she wore for her last carnival."

Bramley shopping centre has contributed nearly £10,000 to aid the promotion of the carnival through advertisements on the side of buses and around the centre.

There will be presenters and members from the Radio Aire team handing out goody bags at the centre on Saturday - and the chance to win a new Citroen Picasso car. The winner has to crack a six digit code to unlock the safe to win the new car.

The carnival will host the James Dylan Motorcycle stunt team besides other attractions.
