2008/09 has proved to be Bramley Phoenix JFC's best season on record.
Three age groups won their respective divisions, another age group won promotion, and another came in the runner-up spot.

The club is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The U-8s age group under manager Steve Lilley took the club's youngest age group to the runner-up spot in the Keybury League.

This in itself is a great result as most of the team have never played football before.

The U-9s age group, under manager Stuart Davies, won the Keybury League title in their first season. This was a real achievement as many of the clubs they were up against had already played for a season.

The U-12's, with manager Dean Clapshaw and assistant Thomas Wilson at the helm, had a tough battle in Division 2 of the Garforth League.

They enjoyed a brilliant last six games to finish in second spot to gain promotion to Division 1.

The U-14s, under manager Johnny Howard and assistant Kenny Charlton, have also had a great season and were crowned champions of Division 4 of the Garforth League.

They beat the team level on points with them in a nail biting last game of the season.

And finally the U-16s under joint managers Andy Wilson and Darren Wood ran out worthy winners of division 3 of the Huddersfield Junior League due in part to an amazing 13 game winning streak.

Club president, Andy Wilson, told Bramley Today: "I am very proud of our success this year and it's a fitting tribute to all of the hard work the club has done over the last 10 years and fitting reward for the hard work and commitment the players and managers have made over the course of this season."

The club who are to be awarded there F.A Charter Standard shortly are recognised as being one of the best run local clubs.

They are always looking for new players aged between 5 and 16 and they are always on the look out for adults looking to get involved.
