Schools were told to keep pupils in class or year-sized 'bubbles'. This allows schools to easily identify those who may need to self-isolate if someone within the bubble tests positive for the virus. Since schools reopened in Leeds, a number of "bubbles" have been collapsed due to positive coronavirus cases. These are the primary schools we know to have been affected:
1. Roundhay St John's C of E Primary School

2. Woodhouse Grove
Woodhouse Grove, an independent school located on the border of Leeds and Bradford, was notified about a positive Covid-19 test on Wednesday September 9. A year group bubble was been collapsed. Photo: SWNS
3. Bardsey Primary School
Bardsey Primary School: A number of staff members were told to self-isolate after a member of staff tested positive on Friday September 4
4. Castleton Primary School
Castleton Primary School: Child confirmed to have tested positive on September 11. Some pupils were sent home to isolate
5. Quarry Mount Primary
Quarry Mount Primary: The school had to close on September 16 after three people tested positive for Covid-19. Reception and Year 1 pupils were sent home to isolate.
6. Hunslet St. Mary's C E Primary School
Hunslet St. Mary's C E Primary School: A Year 4 bubble was collapsed on September 15 after a person tested positive for coronavirus.
