This Leeds pub is giving away free food on St Patrick's Day in Leeds
Publican Tony Padgett, who runs the New Travellers Rest in Cross Gates, will be offering up a free Irish stew with everyone’s first pint.
Tony has employed the help of his Dublin born and raised mum to cook up the traditional Irish stew and coddle.

On St Patrick's day itself, which falls on Tuesday, March 17 this year, customers can compete to win a gallon of Guinness with a pool competition.
Tony Padgett said “St. Patrick’s is the perfect day for us to open our doors and welcome those who may not have had chance to come and meet us yet.
"Since the pub reopened last year it’s gone from strength to strength.
"Whether you’re Irish or not it’s a great excuse to get to the pub for a good old knees-up on St Patrick’s Day weekend.”
