Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the housing market remained strong in Leeds, with average house prices shooting up in some areas as people moved out towards the suburbs. Estate agents in west Leeds suburb of Pudsey in particular saw a huge demand for homes in the area and it has since been named as one of the top property hotspots in the UK by Rightmove.
Local estate agent Manning Stainton, which has branches across Leeds, calculated the areas that have seen house prices rise the fastest in the last year.
