Bramley residents will get an opportunity to view water works planned by Yorkshire Water on Wednesday.
The company has planned a £1.8 million refit of mains beneath the suburb's streets.

The scheme will see worn or poor-quality pipework replaced, relined or cleaned and will involve digging small access holes that should have a limited impact on traffic.

There will also be some larger trenches which could cause delays.

Project manager Carol Fairbrother: "There isn't really any such thing as a good time to dig up the roads so we'd like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience which the work may cause."

"However, we'd like to assure our customers that both Yorkshire Water and our contractors, Laing O'Rourke, will do everything possible to limit the impact of the scheme."
