Police appeal over Bramley street robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following a street robbery in Bramley.

Between 9.30am and 9.45am on Monday, June 15, a 47-year-old woman was walking along Waterloo Lane towards Raynville Road when a robber on a bicycle rode up behind her and snatched her handbag, causing her to fall to the ground. She was left shaken but not physically injured.

He was described as white, aged in his late teens, with short dark hair and pockmarked skin. He was wearing a dark blue jacket with stripes on the arms and a large tick design on the back.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information is asked to contact the Crime Team at Pudsey on 0113 241 4847 or Crimestoppers, anonymously and in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
