Crime and grime were just two of the issues tackled recently during a clean-up of the Broadlea community in Bramley.

* Click here to make Bramley Today your friend on Facebook.Staff from Bramley Neighbourhood Housing Office, West Yorkshire Policing team and West Leeds Area Management joined forces with neighbourhood wardens while police executed arrest warrants and housing officers ensured tenants were living in the right houses.
Workers were also on hand to clean up and tidy gardens.
Paul Lilley, deputy manager of the Bramley Neighbourhood Housing Office, said: "It was a good community scheme and a lot of people were involved in it. We hope that it will have a lasting impact on the estate."
Akbar Khan, manager of the Bramley Neighbourhood Housing Office, added: "It is a hard to reach community and we wanted to bring back some reassurance and quality of life to residents.
"There is a lot of reluctance to report anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in this deprived inner city area, but this scheme went really well."
The Broadlea community will hold a special community fun day tomorrow (Friday) at 15-17 Broadlea Hill from 11am-4pm.
The Lord Mayor of Leeds will officially open the event and there will be a number of stalls, refreshments, activities and a community barbecue.
