Youngsters from Swinnow Primary in Bramley joined almost 5,000 Yorkshire pupils to promote road safety.
These pupils took part in a bid to break the walking bus record.

New figures released by road safety campaign group Brake show that 1,200 children on foot are killed or hurt on Yorkshire's roads every year.

Children from schools across the region walked across their areas, calling on drivers to slow down locally to 20mph.
With similar events across the country, organiser Brake hoped to smash its own world record and have up to 87,000 youngsters involved.

Beverley Hodson, learning mentor at Swinnow, said: "With the large number taking part, we hope to raise awareness of road safety in our local community."

Brake wants the Government to reduce the speed limit in communities to 20mph.

Swinnow Primary has successfully lobbied Leeds City Council for better road safety after two pupils narrowly escaped being hit.
