Man dies off Call Lane in Leeds

A man has died just off Call Lane in Leeds city centre.

Police were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service at 3.43pm to Regent Court to a report of an unresponsive man.

He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Enquiries are at an early stage and remain ongoing into the circumstances."

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1102 of today, Monday, March 9.
