Fines for illegally parked drivers have been issued by police again this month around Temple Newsam.

It is at least the third time this month that officers have taken action over the inconsiderate parking in the area.

The car parks at Temple Newsam had been closed for lockdown but reopened last week.

"If you are going to the park to get daily exercise then please park legally.

"People are having to go onto the road to pass the cars with young children and disability scooters.

We have posted similar articles like this a few times over the last few weeks.

"Please feel free to share this to anyone who parks there.

"We don't like giving tickets, but if you are parked there illegaly then please expect one.

"Thanks for your continued support."

Fines have been issued on several other occasions earlier this month, when people from all over Leeds were travelling to Temple Newsam despite full lockdown.
