Police release e-fit image over Leeds park attack

Detectives investigating an assault of a woman in Roundhay Park in Leeds have released an e-fit image of a man they want to identify.

An appeal was launched after the incident at the park at around 10.17am on Sunday, August 23, when officers were called to reports that a 29-year-old woman had been grabbed by a man while walking on a path near the old swimming pool car park.

She managed to break free and get away from the suspect.

The suspect is 6ft 4in, very dark skinned Afro-Caribbean, in his 20s, of medium build with broad shoulders, brown eyes, a flat, big nose, a big top lip and short black hair in small tight knots. He wore a dark hooded top and shiny black tracksuit bottoms

West Yorkshire Police today released an e-fit of a man they want to identify in connection with the incident.
