Suspect arrested as police seize class A drugs and cash in south Leeds

Police have made an arrest following a drugs bust in Leeds.

Officers from the South Leeds Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) carried out a search warrant on Wednesday.

They discovered class A and class B drugs and wads of cash.

A suspect was arrested and has been remanded in custody.

A spokesperson for the South Leeds NPT said: "Yesterday NPT officers supported the Neighbourhood Impact Team by executing a Section 23 drugs warrant In South Leeds.

"Class A and Class B drugs and an amount of money were found.

"All the evidence was seized, suspect was arrested, and remanded."
