West Yorkshire Police warning as multiple weekend emergency calls caused by Covid rule breakers

The force tweeted on Saturday night that 'a number' of the calls they had received that evening could have been prevented 'if only' the people involved had abided by the current restrictions.
The tweet included a warning that it is 'highly inadvisable' to invite strangers into your home 'at the best of times'.

Hide AdOfficers also issued a reminder that 'we're still in lockdown' - adding that this will hopefully not be for much longer.
West Yorkshire Police has been approached for more information.
The full tweet from West Yorkshire Police Contact Management Centre officers said: "A number of our calls tonight could have been prevented if only the involved persons had abided by the lockdown rules.
"Remember, we're still in lockdown (though hopefully not for much longer), and it's highly inadvisable to invite strangers to your home at the best of times! ^SK"
