Murder accused Mark Barrott appears before Leeds Crown Court over death of his wife Eileen at their home in Whinmoor

A man accused of murdering his wife at their home in Leeds has appeared before the city's Crown court.

Mark Barrott, 54, appeared at Leeds Crown Court this morning (August 25) accused of murdering Eileen Barrott.

Mrs Barrott, 50, was found dead at the couple’s home in Naburn Fold, Whinmoor, Leeds, on August 15.
