Nasim Hussein Khan has also been banned from keeping animals for life after American bulldog Bonny suffered multiple broken bones during a three-week campaign of abuse.
He had only owned her for around two weeks before he began to beat the defenceless pet.

Khan pleaded guilty to three offences relating to animal cruelty after charity the RSPCA funded a prosecution.
RSPCA inspector Danielle Grimshaw said:
“The state this puppy was in when she came to our attention was shocking - her injuries were obvious to anyone looking at her. She had a fractured pelvis, spine, rib and foot and a swollen head which, in veterinary opinion, was the result of a skull fracture, though this did not show up on X-rays.
“Khan had her for five weeks. According to the vet, the oldest of her fractures was at least three weeks old.”

Hide AdBonny, who has since been adopted and re-named Daphne, was seen by vets last August, where she appeared nervous and reluctant to walk, and was wobbly on her back legs. She later went to a foster home for five weeks of cage rest.
“This puppy was violently and repeatedly beaten,” added inspector Grimshaw.
As well as the custodial sentence and lifetime disqualification, Khan was also ordered to pay £400 costs and a £115 victim surcharge.
In mitigation, the court heard that he was going through a difficult time due to troubles in his personal life.

“She sometimes limps after exercise and continues to be on a supplement to manage that, but considering what happened to her, I’m really happy to say she’s doing great.”
