Help fix Leeds repair shop's move
Bosses are planning to move the shop, based in Chapel Lane, off Town Street, so it can take on more volunteers to expand the service.

Hide AdThey are raising money using Crowdfunder, where users can donate online in exchange for discounts and services at the shop.
Alan Brown, from FixIT Leeds, said: “Our mission has three positive outcomes: we train volunteers, provide cheap hardware, and divert electronic waste from landfill,
“Our aim is to have a positive impact on the community, and promote re-use to the greatest possible extent.”
As part of its fundraising, the shop is offering people the chance to swap donations for a computer-building course, a custom spray paint job on their laptop and affordable desktop computers.

The shop aims to help people who want to develop their IT skills but could have struggled to afford a new computer of their own.
The computers are refurbished by volunteers, who are also given the chance learn valuable IT skills while they work.
Shop staff take donations of unwanted computers and re-use as many parts as possible before sending any unusable components to an environmentally responsible recycling company for safe disposal.
