One of the lucky pups to be adopted this month was 10-year-old West Highland Terrier Betty, who was recently handed over due to the declining health of her owner. Thankfully, she was quickly adopted and is now

Domino, a 10-year-old Lurcher, has spent most of his life waiting to find his forever home, but has been enjoying weekend breaks to one of his handler's home recently. On his visits he has proven that he will settle perfectly into a home life. Photo: Dogs Trust
Edie, a five-year-old Shar Pei, is one of the centre’s underdogs - or dogs who have been waiting much longer than others to find their forever homes and may have specific behavioural training needs, medical needs or simply get overlooked. She is lots of fun and forms a very strong bond with her human friends, and although she needs quite a specific home, in the right
home she will be perfect. Photo: Dogs Trust
It was all hands on deck when the team took in a very special family! Leelah is a four-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Crossbreed who found herself with an unexpected litter of 13 puppies. Her owner quite simply couldn’t cope and did the right thing by reaching out to Dogs Trust for help. Leelah and her family are now being cared for at the centre and everyone is doing well. Leelah will be returning to her owner and will be neutered to avoid any future accidents once the pups are old enough to be rehomed. Photo: Dogs Trust
