Singer Mel B, also known as Scary Spice from the Spice Girls, has made her mark in the performing world over the years, and shes proud to have hailed from the city of Leeds.
2. Alistair and Jonny Brownlee
Born in Dewsbury, the two brothers both are among the most successful triathletes of their time, having won Olympic, World and national medals between them. They are also both graduates of the University of Leeds.
3. Marco Pierre White
Famous chef Marco Pierre White was born and raised in Leeds. He attended Allerton Bywater High School, before deciding to train as a chef, initially at Hotel St George in Harrogate and then at the Box Tree in Ilkley.
4. Corinne Bailey Rae
