As part of a small consortium, Zulfi Hussain also donated 2,000 masks and 600 face visors to help hospitals across Leeds and Bradford tackle the virus.
His restaurant has supplied more than 800 free meals to NHS staff since the pandemic started.

Hide AdPrior to the pandemic, Deeva offered fundraising events, mainly for charities, by offering ticketed events where a minimum of £5 per ticket went to the charity.
On the evening, the organisation had exclusive use of the venue and could raise additional funds through raffles and auctions with an aim to overall raise £1000 from the event, which was usually achieved.
During the pandemic, at a time when hospitality was struggling, Zulfi continued his charitable work by donating to the hospitals.
Mr Hussain said: "We wanted to treat NHS staff who are under pressure. The feedback has been amazing."

Hide AdAs Deeva starts to reopen, Mr Hussain vowed to increase the offering of fundraising events, available to not just charities but also schools, sport clubs and other community groups.
The aim is to help charities and the community by making use of the facilities Deeva has to offer, Mr Hussain said.
