Ten fire engines and specialist units are on the scene of a fire in Hunslet tonight.
The blaze on Pepper Road can be seen across the Leeds skyline.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "It is creating a lot of smoke in the area.
"Local residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed.
"Please avoid travelling through the area."
