Bramley's Intake High: Students perform Guys and Dolls

Pupils at a Bramley school are treading the boards and getting a taste of Broadway as part of their spectacular Christmas production.

Performers at Intake High School Arts College will also be wearing exact replicas of period costumes in their production of Guys and Dolls after receiving a donation from Airevale Homes.

The school production of the musical will run every night until Saturday, December 13, and the school boasts famous ex-pupils including 'Scary Spice' and actress Angela Griffin.

David Vincent, a director of Airevale Homes, said: "As a small developer we always like to give something back to the communities in which we work and we have been delighted to support the school and its legendary performances."

Jackie Rose, who is the head of performing arts, said: "To make a successful production it's vital that every element of the show is as good as it can be. Thanks to Airevale Homes the Guys and Dolls cast will really look the part."

Tickets will cost £5 for adults and £2.50 concessions. Family tickets of two adults and two children will be £12.
