Pupils at a Bramley school have been celebrating a new addition to their playground.
A 15-strong team from the Asda Local and Community team gave Park Spring Primary School a helping hand to create a quiet area, where pupils can read and rest at lunch and break times.

Working with Leeds City Council's regeneration initiative Leeds Ahead and environmental charity Groundworks, Asda donated the funds for materials for the project, which was designed by the school.

Karen Todd, Asda Local and Community Manager, said: "It's great when we have the chance to really make a difference in our own community and get our hands dirty.

"This addition to the playground will provide somewhere for pupils to escape. We hope they enjoy the area as much as my team have enjoyed working on it."
