Young artists have brought a splash of colour to Bramley's former fire station.
The children created a mural for the old Stanningley Road fire station, which is to be transformed into a centre of excellence for safety awareness and education for people in West Yorkshire.

The Fireplace is expected to open in spring 2009.In the meantime, youngsters from Whingate, Armley, Greenhill and Christ Church primary schools have been working with community artist Kevin Hickson to create the fire safety-themed montage.

The four 10ft-square panels have been fixed to the front of the building.
