Bramley Buffaloes are preparing to take on Featherstone Lions later this week.
The game is being staged at Featherstone's Millpond Stadium, on Thursday, June 19, with an 8pm kick-off.

The match was rearranged from last Saturday due to a long-standing prior booking of the Featherstone clubhouse and facilities and is a repeat of last year's superb Grand Final at Carnegie Headingley, which went the way of the Lions. Bramley's first home match this season saw the two teams fight out a pulsating draw.

Buffaloes head coach, Paul Cook, who has recently signed on to Coach the Buffaloes for a further two years, is philosophical. "Every game is tough at this stage of the season. The lads have performed superbly well, losing just once. Our away win at Celtic Crusaders was especially memorable but that was a couple of weeks ago. We all start level again. Featherstone have suffered from missing some regulars. But with a full squad they are capable of defeating anybody. So we will need to be on our toes, if we are to come away with the points."

Buffaloes will be selecting from strength this week, with Sean Flynn fit, and Mark Butterill, Richard Leese and Kevin Till all available after holidays.

Chairman, Martyn Cheney, has been delighted with the turnout of fans away in Wales, and at Bramley Phoenix Rugby Union ground, for the game against Dewsbury Celtic.

He said "our fans have made their presence felt at away games as far away as South Wales, and the atmosphere at The Warrels last week was tremendous. I hope fans will be making the short trip to Featherstone on Thursday night for what is a crucial game, against what will be a fired-up Lions side."
