Bramley went in into this game looking to add to their recent run of good results.

They opted to re-shuffle the line up and pushed Matty Wheeldon back into a central midfield position allowing a starting place for Danny Cawkwell up front.

Bramley started the game well and were soon passing the ball around which led to a couple of early chances for Danny Cawkwell, unfortunately he pulled both shots just wide of the post.

After more decent build up play Bramley were awarded a free kick about 30 yards out when Gibbo was upended by an over zealous Beeston defender.

Danny Cawkwell lined up the free kick and struck it perfectly curling it around the Beeston wall and finding the bottom corner of the net – the Beeston keeper was a mere spectator as he was rooted to his goal line.

The goal inspired Bramley and they put Beeston under pressure and they were soon creating chance after chance – with a little more composure Danny Cawkwell could have increased his goal tally when he headed straight at the keeper from a well taken free kick and also when he was through on goal with only the keeper to beat he managed to push his shot wide.

At the other end Bramley were defending well and cleared up any Beeston attack effectively – Matty Wheeldon in midfield was influential he was winning every header and putting Beeston back under pressure.
With only a couple of minuets left to play in the first half Beeston won a throw-in in the Bramley half which was only half cleared by the
Bramley defence – this resulted in a Beeston striker hitting a hopeful volley which evaded the Bramley keeper and found the back of the net.

In the second half Bramley kept their composure and continued to play good attractive football – their pressure finally paid off when Mikey Ash was first to react to a loose ball in the Beeston area and managed to prod his shot home from six yards out.

After Bramley had survived a couple of Beeston attacks they went onto build on their lead and added a third goal when Danny Cawkwell got on the end of a rebound and side-footed his shot into the Beeston net.
Bramley wrapped up the game when sub Nav Shakia sneaked in at the back post and converted a well taken cross.

Team: Ryan Friend, Ross Whittaker, Andy Oliver, Joe Hirst, Jonny Reid, Joe Bamford, Gibbo, Matty Wheeldon, Stephen Prince, Mikey Ash, Danny Cawkwell, Dean Ash, Nav Shakia, Matty Illingworth.

Man-of-the-match: Matty Wheeldon.
