United have now gone 14 games in London without a victory with the last win in the capital coming at Queens Park Rangers in December 2017 though the Whites once again impressed with their football.
Leeds went close in the fourth minute as Alioski burst into the box and slammed in a fierce shot that rippled the side netting.
A fine Jack Harrison cross then whistled through the area in the ninth minute and Matuesz Klich volleyed over shortly after.

Steven Bergwijn then drove a shot wide and from a free-kick that was half cleared, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's firm effort was well held by Illan Meslier.
Leeds squandered another good chance in the 22nd minute when Raphinha's cross provided Bamford with a free header that was sent over the bar.
And Spurs were then awarded a penalty two minutes before the half hour when Alioski caught Bergwijn just inside the box.

Moments later, Toby Alderweireld's low shot was blocked and Kane curled the rebound wide.
Back came Leeds and after a sublime flick from Mateusz Klich, Rodrigo scuffed his shot wide but Bergwijn then blasted a fine chance over the bar from 12 yards out following a Ben Davies cross.
From Alioski's cross, Bamford's prodded attempt was blocked by Davies and an Alioski volley from range then went out for a throw.

United's latest attempt then saw Bamford fire straight at Hugo Lloris and a far more clinical Spurs side doubled their lead two minutes before the break when a brilliant cross from Kane picked out Son who neatly tucked away his effort from the middle of the box.
Davies almost made it 3-0 when blazing just wide moments later and it proved the last chance of the first half.
Leeds began the second half on the attack but from a quickly taken free-kick, Tanguy Ndombele's powerful effort was saved by Meslier but squirmed behind.

Kane then blasted an effort into the side netting a fourth goal should have arrived in the 57th minute with only a vital touch from Alioski seeing off a Spurs counter led by Son.
Whites head coach Marcelo Bielsa then took off Harrison for Ian Poveda on the hour mark but only a fine save from Meslier denied Bergwijn one minute later.
Jamie Shackleton then replaced Alioski and Pablo Hernandez then replaced Rodrigo as the final Whites change.

Kane then sent an audacious lob from the halfway line over the bar but United continued to bomb forward with Hernandez, Raphinha, Kalvin Phillips and Bamford all sending in attempts on goal.
Hojbjerg's attempt was also blocked at the other end but a game featuring 37 attempts at goal, 17 of which were from Leeds, ultimately ended in a 3-0 triumph for Jose Mourinho's hosts.
The game also ended with Spurs down to ten men with Matt Doherty sent off after picking up a second yellow card for fouling Hernandez in the 93rd minute.
