The teen pair's cheeky banter and on-air japes have built them a loyal fanbase among listeners of Bramley's online community radio station Radio Poplar.

In between playing their favourite tunes, they bicker, fight, talk about life as a teenager...and moan about homework.

But now the two pals since primary school are hanging up the headphones becuase of their GCSE years approaching.

Daniel Ugarte and Ellie Le Tissier, both 14 and pupils at Crawshaw School, Pudsey, are looking for another double act to inhabit their Tuesday Kidz Corner slot (7pm to 9pm).

Ellie said: "We are gutted to give the show up, but we have a lot of homework now and it's too much."

The station is based at the Venerable Bede Church in Bramley and broadcasts daily at: www.radiopoplar.com
